Message to Global News: Austin Powers Isn't Funny

Message to Global News: Austin Powers Isn't Funny Here's that music that Blue Rodeo stole from me so their friend Mike Myers could pay them for it when it appeared on the soundtrack of the fraud movie, Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. Pretty tune, eh? I've had it on my mind lately. So they steal my words and my humour and then they back it all up with my music on the closing credits. AND THEN WHO GETS PAID FOR IT? What a stinking foul crime. So why do people still think Austin Powers is funny? Global News, can you answer this for me and your followers? Can you answer it with the truth? I saw and downloaded a clip from Global News yesterday where they thought it was funny to include 'Austin Powers' in a series of YouTube clips that make fun of the tanker that got stuck in the Suez Canal. I guess they think that Mike Myers was funny when he stole my character from my blogs in 2007 to make his blockbuster trilogy. Some of them would cert

Poetry Can Hurt

Poetry Can Hurt I've just heard about the Dr Seuss ban and it doesn't upset me at all. I don't read Dr Seuss anymore. As for racially insensitive imagery, if it upsets visible minorities, I give them the benefit of the doubt on it. I'm white, so my eye misses those kinds of details in children's books. But you can tell he ranked the 'whos' above other races. Remember that scene in the Grinch that Stole Christmas where they're all singing 'Gottes Sohn Ist Kommen' and one of the grown-ups picks up little Cindy Loo Who so she can adorn the portrait of the fuehrer with her wreath? Sorry, I know I shouldn't be joking around about it too much. Poetry ought not to hurt anyone. Oh, by the way, there were an awful lot of rhyming verses being broadcast to millions of people from 2007 to 2011, or so, that brought terrible harm to someone. That someone was me, their author. What kind of monstrous illusion is created by putting sweet stolen

Justice Is Coming

Justice Is Coming I finally have an Apple ID, but it will be a while before I can have something new to share on iTunes. I don't know if the site is still flooded with impersonating assholes, but if it is, don't worry; justice is on the way. Justice must be the greatest fear of these scoundrels. Anyway, I will tell you here when you can see - and maybe buy - some of the things I've been working on for the last couple of years. My first priority right now is simply to get my Macbook back up to date, though I'm happy to say I've recovered my iMovie program and it seems to be working okay. I will also have to fit these online projects into a rather busy full-time employment schedule, so please be patient. And if anyone says they're me on iTunes before I get in there, please lock them up and burn them alive. Mar11/2021: I've a little extra time this evening to share some of the thoughts I've been having while trying to find an interesting sto

Rotten Apple

Rotten Apple 5:00pm. Have you ever tried to create an Apple ID for yourself? Wow. Is it ever impossible. Every time it tells you to check your email for the verification number, you lose the form and must start over. After entering two pages of personal information, I must start over. What pure misery. Afer trying again - just out of masochism I guess - I see that, in order to get an Apple ID you need more than just to work in a warehouse and save your money for a year, but you also need two computers and a cell phone to be able to send them back their verification codes. Oh well. I'll have to try again where I have access to a second computer. One of their brand new Macbook Pros is not enough to get the job done of aquiring an Apple ID on its own. And the reason I need to update some of my ciritical software like iMovie is because of their suggested update to the great new operating system 'Big Sur'. By crippling my iMovie program until I can update it,
