Proof Positive
Let me share a positive message with you - from someone who doesn't need to cheat you or lie to your heart: you can win against bad stars. If they all want to gang up on you and get their media friends to support them, you can face them all alone and beat them. If they take your property, you can take it back. If they tarnish your image, you can throw them in jail. You don't need to feel overpowered by their numbers. You don't need their deceptive, manipulating illusions. You don't need to feel inferior to them because they probably couldn't last five minutes in your shoes, at least if you work hard and live an honest real life. This is the glorious news I share with you every time I catch a star with one of my things, and anyone who contradicts it is a liar.

Special Delivery

Special Delivery I have been following the war, mostly on DW News. Again, I stand firmly with Ukraine. I hope the Ukrainians can stop Putin in his tank tracks, not just for their own sake, but because Poland may be next otherwise. Poland is a NATO country, which would drag my country of Canada into the war, and I don't want to be in a war. Who would want that? We need to avoid that until the last possible moment. But, for what it's worth, I have given some thought to how we might slip those replacement Migs across the Poland-Ukraine border. I suggest we disassemble them and disguise the parts as cleaning equipment, perhaps industrial vacuum cleaners or something. Yes, I'm sure Kyiv could use a good vacuuming after all those artillery shells. I'll tell you something else, my gasoline consumption is zero. Poetry Can Hurt I've just heard about the Dr Seuss ban and it doesn't upset me at all. I don't read Dr Seuss anymore. As for racially insensitive imagery, if it upsets visible minorities, I give them the benefit of the doubt on it. I'm white, so my eye misses those kinds of details in children's books. But you can tell he ranked the 'whos' above other races. Remember that scene in the Grinch that Stole Christmas where they're all singing 'Gottes Sohn Ist Kommen' and one of the grown-ups picks up little Cindy Loo Who so she can adorn the portrait of the fuehrer with her wreath?
